It was a morning where milk turned a warm cup of coffee into that perfect latte color. It was a morning where light danced across the bedroom walls, creating ever changing patterns. As morning gave way to afternoon, smoky grey shadows cast long grids along the sidewalk, and weathered steel reflected the soft luster of the late-morning sun. A day in the studio is spent creating potato prints, marbling paper and working through ideas in a sketchbook. By the end of the day, the light had shifted, casting everything in deep blue-green hues.</div><div class="p3"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: right;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNAURv3CzLDkk3CRcfLoqJ56V__QSS6ci1vV_kcsJUU2b4GXSsrkRT-e4j7ETOP3LjpUAmykhkBL4-jqLdXsEykU0EiizOenLUOvpJO6Rx_A0f9WzJhHDpkCnIuNXmeDw1xKAn7Jka/s1600/EJ+847A9559.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNAURv3CzLDkk3CRcfLoqJ56V__QSS6ci1vV_kcsJUU2b4GXSsrkRT-e4j7ETOP3LjpUAmykhkBL4-jqLdXsEykU0EiizOenLUOvpJO6Rx_A0f9WzJhHDpkCnIuNXmeDw1xKAn7Jka/s1600/EJ+847A9559.jpg" /></a></div><div class="p3"><br /></div><div class="p2"><br /></div><div class="p4">Naturally dyed shibori linens, subtle metallics, hand-painted marks and an array of rich neutrals layer together to create this thoughtfully crafted assortment of patterned pillows. Fall Travel inspiration: The Lake Placid Lodge

<img height="450" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-10-lodge-view-from-lake.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="800" /> <br />Hi my lovelies. I hope everyone had a great weekend. All weekend, i’ve been daydreaming about visiting this rustic gem aka The Lake Placid Lodge. It  is located in the Tri-Lakes region of the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York.  I would love to rendezvous there for a week or so when dearest hubby returns home. I really cannot think of the perfect adjectives to describe it. All i know is it’s been beckoning to me since the first time i read about it <a href="http://www.kiwicollection.com/">here</a>. It has breathtaking mountain and lake vistas, a fireplace in every room or cabin, and a decor that exudes romance, elegance and does so in a sexy rustic kind of way:-) Lake Placid was also built by hand in the Arts and Crafts tradition and blends seamlessly with its lakeside setting. Each of the 30 rooms and cabins is unique, with custom twig and birch bark furniture, a private porch, and deep-soaking tubs to warm up a chilly body (or two). <br /><br /><img height="433" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-06-rondeau-patio-view-through-window-into-living-room.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="770" /> <br /><img height="382" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-18-mountain-view-cabin.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="680" /> <br /><img height="382" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-04-cabin-exterior-daytime-lake-view.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="680" /> <br /><img height="432" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-03-bedroom-lake-view-balcony.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="770" /> <br /><img height="382" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-07-treetop-unique-bed-tree-branches.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="680" /> <br /> <img height="382" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-09-two-bedroom-cabin-living.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="680" /> <br /><img height="405" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-13-reception-fireplace.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="720" /> <br /><img height="405" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-02-bedroom-lake-view.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="720" /> <br /><img height="394" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-15-lakeside-deck-dinner.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="700" /> <br /><div align="center">romantic dinner for two…</div><div align="center"><img height="433" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-17-private-deck-lake-view.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="770" /> </div><img height="450" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-12-patio-red-chairs-lake-fog-view.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="800" /> <br /><img height="439" src="http://cdn.media.kiwicollection.com/media/property/PR001971/xl/001971-08-lake-sunrise.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="780" /> <br /><div align="center">So peaceful…</div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center">Stunning place, right?
