Getting a Better Sleep with Peacock Alley and a Luxury Bedding Giveaway.

I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with the lovely people at Peacock Alley who worked with me to choose the perfect bedding to enhance my sleep. I was sent different samples to choose from.

I ended up choosing their sateen Emma Collection in Coral. I fell in love with the color(of course) and the modern geometric diamond pattern that almost looks like polka dots. Also, I have allergies and I am very particular with the type of fabrics I come in contact with.  Sateen sheets are a great choice for people with allergies as they are 100 percent cotton with a high thread count and a lustrous sheen. They are woven from combed, carded, or long-fiber cotton threads that are then mercerized, meaning they're soaked in lye and then in acid. This process not only strengthens the cotton fibers and makes them more durable, but also gives sateen sheets their signature sheen and helps them accept dye evenly.

Since then, I've been enjoying the sheets so much that I don't even want to get out of bed to have breakfast. Breakfast tastes better in bed on these sateen sheets; just don't spill anything on them!
