I fell in love with the color(of course) and the modern geometric diamond pattern that almost looks like polka dots. Also, I have allergies and I am very particular with the type of fabrics I come in contact with.  Sateen sheets are a great choice for people with allergies as they are 100 percent cotton with a high thread count and a lustrous sheen. They are woven from combed, carded, or long-fiber cotton threads that are then mercerized, meaning they're soaked in lye and then in acid.
