Growing up I was in the band at school and learned to play the flute very well. I really liked it and actually wish I would of continued playing even as an adult. The schools I attended offered a variety of musical instruments to play. Although most schools don't offer the option for you to learn to play piano.
Looking back if it had been offered I still would of played something else. However, I think there are plenty of children who would love the option to learn to play piano at school. I think it would be a great asset to any band.
I had many friends who were able to learn to play piano via private lessons and they were wonderful! I really think it's a great talent to be able to magically run your fingers over the keys and produce such a beautiful sound. Do you play piano?
